COURSE OVERVIEW

The MST  2D/3D -Transesophageal Echocardiography Training Course is a practical way to learn the optimal TEE view acquisition and interpretation.

Expert-guided hands-on live scanning sessions with advanced teaching tools are a unique way to become an expert imager. 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

This course aims to offer a comprehensive theoretical and practical approach to 2D/3D TEE including:

• different pathologies,
• tips & tricks of TEE-guided structural interventions (TSP, mitral or tricuspid TEER, LAAO)
• contemporary TEE imaging modes (2D, biplane, 3D, MPR, including color imaging)
• specific educational tools to explain anatomy (i.e. colored TV leaflets, 3D anatomical markers, etc.)
• hands-on simulated analysis of 3D ECHO datasets with cropping, display, and measurements
• Step-by-step hands-on simulation, supervised individually by an expert, is illustrated with real procedural images.

MrTEEmothy is an advanced and well-recognized simulation system endorsed by many world-known experts and utilized during best courses, including PCR London Valves, TCT, TVT, and many others.

Transseptal puncture is practiced using a complete simulation system including the catheters/needle manipulations navigated live by both fluoroscopy and TEE. Haptic feedback is provided.

The TEE experts are recognized scientists and TEE interventional operators with over 20 years of clinical experience.  

The program can be modified if group training is needed.
